Jas 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
My Child,
Every day you have a fight between your spirit and your flesh. There is nothing good in your flesh. Your flesh wants only to lust and work the works of the devil: anger, hatred, division, envy, etc. Not only is your flesh trying to dominate your spirit every day, but the devil works through your flesh to spur it on. When your spirit is weak, not filled with my Word and my Spirit, then your flesh is easily strengthened by the lies and influence of the evil one. Therefore, every day you must resolve to stay in the Spirit all throughout the day, come what may. Just as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, you will be tested every day. The circumstances of life and the schemes of the devil will attack you and try to get you out of the Spirit and into the flesh. As I have told you in my Word, you must resist him. Once you have set your mind on peace, throughout the day you must stay in peace. Don't let the enemy use people or problems to upset you! Stay set in peace and watch me work out whatever is coming against you. The victory is not when you see how it all turns out for your good. The victory is when you resist the devil because when you resist him, he will flee.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You that You gave me your Holy Spirit as my helper to help me stay in peace and the other fruit of the Spirit. Though I am tried and tempted every day, I resolve every morning, by faith, to resist the devil and stay in peace, in Jesus' name, Amen!
