JOYFUL DEPENDENCE

Php 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

My Child,

In the natural, no one wants to be a slave. When I created you, I created you with a will, which gave you the right to make your own choices. But the truth is, you still need me. I allow you to make your choices so that you can see the difference between your wisdom and mine. Without my wisdom, your choices are either bad or good. But with my help, they can be the best! Therefore, your life is about understanding that you need me every day; every minute and hour of the day! Once you understand that, you no longer have to see that dependence as a negative thing, but a joyful thing. You know that you can always look to me for help, grace, and the best direction for your life and I will be there. The enemy whispers in your ear and tells you that you could do better without me. But your life experience has confirmed to you that your best life is with me, when you depend on me. It’s not a sorrowful dependence, but a joyful one.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for free will, but I thank you more for showing me how much I need You to make the best choices for my life. I depend upon you daily, and I am happy about it. I give You permission to guide me by your Spirit daily in Jesus' name. Amen!
