1Pe 5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
My Child,
I know what you are going through at all times in life. I know the trial you are going through right now. I want you to know and remember that I am in total control of your life! Yes, the enemy wants you to think otherwise because of the trials you face. However, I never promised you a trouble-free life. I have promised you a triumphant life--the life of an overcome! Because of Adam's disobedience, sin and suffering came into the world. But I am still God. I control and limit what the devil can do. I allow suffering so I can use suffering. I use it in your life to draw you closer to a dependency on and trust in Me. I will allow suffering but not without a way of escape. And, after you have suffered, I will use that suffering to make you stronger, better, and greater in faith!
PRAYER: Father, I thank You that despite the sin, sickness, and suffering in this world, You and You alone are in charge of my life. You may allow suffering but only as a means of perfecting me for my growth and my good, in Jesus' name. Amen!
