My Child,
I made you to be like Me. As you know, I have certain main attributes. I am holy, I am love, I am wisdom, I am truth. I have many more incredible attributes, but there is one that summarizes all the rest of them--I am consistent. I don't change and because of that you can depend on Me. What a beautiful thing to be able to rely on someone and their word always! This is one of the great differences between you and Me. When I speak a thing, I will do it; it shall come to pass. When you say you're going to do a thing, maybe you will or maybe you won't. Sometimes you don't call someone back or complete an assignment because something urgent came up. Other times, you simply forget. Sometimes, you never really thought about what you were saying or promising. Whatever the reason or excuse, it brings little consolation to those who depend on your word. So, strive to be consistent like Me. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you and allow people to rely on you too.
PRAYER: Father, first of all, I thank You for being the God on whom I can perfectly rely because you don't change. Grace me to be like You, consistent, faithful, and true, in Jesus' name. Amen!
